Use of arithmetic weighed checksums for error correction in channels with spectral modulation

In this paper a new approach is proposed to increase the efficiency of error correction in spectrum modulation channel by using of arithmetic weighed check sums. Based on a study of the properties of data transmission errors caused by external noises new error correction procedure is developed, which is oriented for correction of one symbol. It is proven that the proposed error correction technique gives better performance and demands lower amount of control bits than error correcting codes.
